Sleepy little town, the acronym seemed fit for my home town: Pathankot - around 15 years ago, when life used to begun at 5am peacefully, the whole day used to pass peacefully and before 8:30 pm news on DD 1, everybody used to be in their homes and made it sure to go to bed latest by 11:00 PM. Early to bed and early to rise used to be the guiding mantra.
But the things have changed now. Everybody seems to be in a rush. Seems as if people of this town have got contagious disease of 'bound by clock' from metros.
I am unable to figure out, whether the town was really sleepy 15 years ago, or was the town the same as it is now and only my perception has changed (read I have grown up).
Whatever it is, I want my sleepy town back, one which taught me purity and faith and which never let me think about treachery or Jealously. Long live the town.....
